Individual Stimulus Payment Update
Many clients have been asking for information on how to update
their personal information for the stimulus payments and to check on the status
of their payment. There are two options to be aware of:
If you were not
required to file for 2018 or 2019 click here. You can enter some basic
information which will allow IRS to determine your eligibility. The IRS
has said if you receive social security benefits but your income is too low to
require a return, no action is required.
If you filed your
2018 or 2019 return and want to check the status of your payment, click here. If you do not have direct
deposit information on file, it will allow you to enter your bank information
directly. If you have moved since your last return, please file a change
of address form ASAP. You can find the form here.
You will need your social security number, birth date, and address of record with IRS to use these features.
